That was awesome... I laughed, teared up, and was thoroughly entertained!

3. I know what you mean... I hope you don't feel isolated and while no one but you will ever completely understand what you've been through, there are plenty of people who can empathize with you...

4. a) That's awesome... I'd love it if Brian got called to a church that had service on the beach on Friday nights! ROCK ON!
b) TOTALLY agree about helping those in need... God never asked us to judge who is deserving and who isn't.

7. YUM and congratulations! I'm sad I've never gotten to meet Paul and Melody... maybe one of these days :).

About the darker posts, I always appreciate those. To me it makes the fun upbeat posts that much more real, knowing there's another side to them. I don't usually comment on them, not because I have nothing to say, but because I have TOO MUCH to say. I start composing a comment and it ends up being a book and then I just get frustrated because I can't express myself concisely and delete the whole thing. Those posts make me want to call you up and take you out for ice cream and discuss. (You know, if we lived in the same town and knew each other in real life and all that;) )

Also, I agree that we shouldn't try to judge who needs our help and who doesn't. My life has been especially crazy lately and even though all my basic needs are met, I've needed help with some things and I'm SO grateful to my friends who offered their help to me instead of waiting for someone who "needed it more."

I am glad you posted about your dad, I think sharing things like that help bring healing. It also helps us get to know what makes you who you are.

I love reading your posts. I search them out sometimes just to see what you're up to! You are hilarious, but beyond that, you have some amazing things to say. Keep writing! I'll keep reading!

I'm so glad you are in my life! I'm so glad my son has you for an auntie! Love ya girl!

Grief can definitely take you to different and dark places. I'm still out here reading and will try to be better about the comments. :-)
