Well, I've gone and done it now! (and I'm mostly happy with the results!)

(and here's the photo I took with me of what I'm working toward in the grow-out stage. I plan on taking photos that show hair that's progressively longer than my current style. I think it will help with my - lack of - communication skillz when it comes to my hairstyle.)

I'm embarrassed to say I thought your hair naturally did that wavy thing. Like, if you let it air dry, that's what happened. I didn't know I could make my hair do that!
