It occurs to me a lot lately that we're not getting any younger. That as the older I get, the harder this will be. I'll be 30 this spring. John will be 35 in February. When we started this journey we were much younger. The first time I got pregnant I had just turned 27. We lost that baby. When I got pregnant with Sydney I was still 27 (she was born when I was 28). This last time I was 29 and we lost that baby. I had a doctor tell me once that the ideal reproductive age for women is between ages 14 and 22.
Well great. I'm probably screwed.

It's so frustrating to not be in control.
I was 27 when we started and now I'll be 31 this round. If I was already damaged goods to begin with at 27, lord knows what kind of shortened timeline I'm on now.

Well if THAT'S true, we're ALL SCREWED! Syd will have a sibling. She's just waititng for ME to get pregnant so that she can have a ready-made BFF just like Syd and Lucy when we're next-door neighbors.
God has a plan, my friend. Also? I love you.

MANDA...you are not TOO OLD. JEEEEZE. I have a good feeling that you will be pregnant and STAY PREGNANT soon. Though - you should not STAY pregnant for 42 weeks like you did with Sydney - 40 weeks would be plenty.
And it is HARD HARD HARD when everyone is pregnant around you (or so it seems).
HA re: yes, you actually have to HAVE sex to procreate. Let's just add some more "THINGS TO DO" to your already full day of dog pee obliteration and toddler wrangling. (I probably wouldn't be feeling too "loving" toward my husband if I had to clean up after his dog's pee all day, hint hint. Maybe THAT will be the straw that breaks the camels' back re: getting juicy the ol' snip snip!!!)
I don't think you should be denying yourself coffee "just in case". If there is a baby, they will be FINE with a few days of caffiene during their first 40 weeks!
